Spend an hour with us on Earth Day and learn about Cooperative Extension’s expanded Agriculture and Horticulture services for farmers, business owners, home gardeners, and anyone else interested in growing things in Durham County. At this event, you will:

  • Meet our agriculture team and help us welcome our newest member, Agriculture Agent, Janel Ohletz, who is serving in a new role focused on small farms and local foods;
  • Learn and ask questions about the services Cooperative Extension can provide to you to help you solve your farm and garden challenges—whether you are a new or experienced grower;
  • Hear ways Cooperative Extension can help you grow your business through NC Farm School, business planning, and the Visit NC Farms App;
  • And much more!

Registration is required (click to register).  A Zoom link to join the meeting will be sent to you. The event will open for participants to log on starting at 6:45 p.m. For any technical assistance before the meeting, reach out to Extension Director, Donna Rewalt at drewalt@dconc.gov or 919-560-0524.
