FAQs:

Below are several frequently asked questions. The list will be updated as new questions arise.

  • Event time: Pesticide Collection Days are always 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with no breaks.
  • ETA: We will arrive sometime between 830 a.m.-930 a.m. to set up and will not close until at least 2 p.m.
  • Materials Accepted: Our Contractor can only accept pesticides – if in doubt, contact us.
  • Pesticide Dealers, Retailers and Businesses: The PDAP’s focus is to assist agricultural producers, farmers, and homeowners. Collecting from dealerships and retail pesticide sales would overburden the Program’s budget. If in doubt, contact us prior to collection day to discuss individual situations for potential assistance.
  • Materials NOT Accepted: We cannot accept pressurized cylinders (small aerosol containers are ok), minibulk/IBC containers, or unknown materials, or other non-pesticide items at the event – if in doubt, contact us before the event for assistance/options.
  • Bulk Liquids: Any material container over 5gal in size requires pre-approval from our Contractor. Contact us before the event for assistance/options.
  • Pesticides from outside the County: Yes, pesticides can be brought to the Collection Day from surrounding counties.
