Collapse ▲In July, the Pura Vida Horse Club participated in the North Carolina 4-H Horse Show!! This event brings talented youth with experience in horse riding and Husbandry together to complete in various horse riding competitions. This year we had 5 participants represent Durham and win ribbons within their age group and class.
These youth worked hard throughout the year with the support of their club leaders to help prepare for this show !! We want to give out a special thank you to all Pura Vida Horse Club leaders who work diligently and are dedicated to making sure the youth learn proper riding and care for the horses they ride.
Emeline got 6th in Hunter-type Mares in Hand, 7th in Western Showmanship at Halter and 7th in Rookie Hunter W/T Showmanship in Hand.
Livia placed in 4 different classes during the show!
