Cooperative Extension, Durham County Center Report to the Community highlights a year of significant achievements and ongoing commitment to enhancing the well-being of our residents. Our extension services have provided invaluable resources in areas such as agriculture, horticulture, family and consumer sciences, and youth development through 4-H programs. This past year, we have successfully implemented numerous educational workshops, community outreach initiatives, and support programs that have empowered individuals and families to lead healthier, more sustainable lives. Noteworthy accomplishments include expanding our urban gardening projects, which have increased food security and fostered community engagement. Our dedicated team continues to collaborate with local partners to address the evolving needs of Durham County, ensuring a resilient and thriving community for all.
