Supporting our Whole Community

We pride ourselves at Durham Cooperative Extension for all the programs we provide for the community. Our programs are frequently designed to low-cost and accessible, and Durham Summer Fun is no different. Our summer camps are provided by local business owners and extension staff and are operated as non-profit programming. But even then, many of our summer programs may be outside the reach of all our community members. To address this need, we’ve created a formal scholarship application process. By filling out this short google form, you can request a partial or complete scholarship for the camps of your choice. These will be reviewed at the end of may by an impartial panel and awarded prior to camp using a rubric scoring system.

If you have questions about this process, or you’ve missed the deadline for application of May 31st, please contact your local 4-H Agent using the information below. There may still be availability prior to camp.
