Durham 4-H will be joining CreekWeek this year! Our assignment is at Sandy Creek Park on March 19th at 9:30am. A light breakfast of bagels and/or biscuits will be provided. The number of participants is currently capped at 15, so please be sure of your commitment. You can register online through this form. Participants will help to clean up the park and do some trash pickup. All materials will be provided. The park includes a beaver damn as well for families to see and enjoy. Recommended age for participants is 8+ as they will need to carry their own trash bag and walk a distance. Youth will be put into smaller groups. If a parent is not participating, younger children will be supervised by an adult volunteer or a teen council member. Registration on this form will close at 5:00pm on March 11th. Please email me at gmhulber@ncsu.edu if you still wish to attend prior to the event, as registration will have moved to CreekWeek's website.
