You can use it to buy food at stores that accept EBT cards. Look for signs that say, “We accept SNAP benefits.” Apply for SNAP online.

WIC is a program to help women, infants, and children get food. Call Lincoln Community Health at 919-956-4042 to apply. Learn more about the WIC Program.
Find free food:
- Use End Hunger Durham’s food pantry list and the Durham Food Resources Map.
- Visit a Durham Community Fridges site.
- Participate in school meals! Durham Public Schools offers free breakfast and lunch every school day to each student. No application is needed.
Double Bucks
Do you receive SNAP, WIC, or live in Section 8 housing? You can use Double Bucks to shop at a farmer’s market and get double the food for your money. Visit the Triangle Double Bucks website for information on participating markets.
