SNAP or Food and Nutrition Services (also known as Food Stamps) may be able to help you. The benefits are given on an EBT card that works like a debit card. You can use it to buy food at stores that accept EBT cards. Look for signs that say, "We accept SNAP benefits." Apply for SNAP online.

- Participate in school meals! Durham Public Schools offers free breakfast and lunch every school day to each student. No application is needed.
Double Bucks Do you receive SNAP, WIC, or live in Section 8 housing? You can use Double Bucks to shop at a farmer’s market and get double the food for your money. Visit the Triangle Double Bucks website for information on participating markets.
