Are you ready to take your gardening to the next level and begin a market garden? This class is for you.In this class series you will learn about management of market gardens and vegetable production. The first class will be an introductory class about the basics of successful vegetable production and free to attend. In this session we will have a brief presentation about what you need to know to begin a market garden followed by discussion among attendees and Q&A.
This will be followed by a group of two online classes and a hands-on, in-person field day at Breeze Farm in Orange County. These series of classes are sold as a package and build on each other and will cover the basics of soil health and management, vegetable production, irrigation, and pest management. The cost for the series is $25. The schedule for classes and subjects covered are below.
