This online series kicks off February 15
The first session will set the stage for year of soil health and regenerative agriculture focused sessions. The February session "What's all the Buzz about Regenerative Agriculture" will be presented by your truly, Dr. Janel Louise Ohletz. I will discuss why the term 'Regenerative Agriculture' is so hot right now, how it differs from Sustainable Agriculture, what it actually means and why we should pay attention to the practices that are being adopted by the regenerative agriculture movement. Each session will take place on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (with exception for March) from 6:00-7:00PM and take place on line over Zoom. The sessions are free but registration is needed to receive the link.
The series will cover a variety of topics with different guest presenters speaking about their area of expertise. The main goal of the series is to increase awareness of the basics of soil health and how taking a regenerative approach to agriculture can begin to improve the soil and ecosystem health. Here is the current line-up
