Durham County Celebrates National 4-H Week October 2-6

National 4-H Week Celebration in Durham
October 2nd: County Wear Green Day
We ask that County employees wear their favorite green gear to show your support of 4-H youth programs

October 3rd: Collect Donations for Youth Scholarships
Drop by the Extension Office on Foster St, we will be collecting donations to send a kid to camp this summer

October 4th: Open House at Extension
Come by the Extension Center and meet the Agent, hear about our programs and have some cake and punch from 3-5 p.m.

October 5th: Eat at Blue Note Grill Day
Our neighbors at Blue Note Grill have agreed to host a fundraiser to collect for youth scholarships. Eat at Blue Note Grill on Thursday October 5th and a percentage of the proceeds will go towards the 4-H program in Durham County

October 6th: Social Media Take-Over Day
We will be rolling out social media campaigns on Friday. We ask that folks post their favorite 4-H pictures and hashtag #durham4-H
